Basalt Powder
Basalt Powder or microfibers are used in injection molding to increase heat resistance and abrasion. Basalt Powder can be compounded well for example with PEEK. Basalt Powder is inert.
Basalt Chopped Fibers
Chopped basalt fibers can be easily mixed with concrete or asphalt due to their specific weight. Depending on the application, lengths from 6 to 60mm are available. Chopped fibers can be provided with different coatings to further increase adhesion.
